Rusty has an extensive background in announcing sports of all sorts. But in recent years he became disenchanted with most "major" sports. The NFL became the "No Fun League" as players now get penalized for "excessive celebration." The the NHL became the "No Hitting League" as players now get penalized for even accidentally running into another player. But then Rusty found roller derby, and in Detroit!
